The lifecycle of a validator goes through six states: 1) Deposited, 2)Pending, 3) Active, 4) Requested to withdraw;5)Exiting, and 6) Exited.
- Deposited: implies the successful creation of a validator. It also suggests the staking transaction has been completed on the Ethereum network but has yet to be confirmed by the consensus layer.
- Pending: means the Ethereum consensus layer has confirmed the validator, but since the rate of validators joining the Ethereum network is limited, if a large number of new validators enter the Ethereum network, they will be queued for a few hours to ten days.
