Blockchain transactions are irreversible and cannot be altered. Once a transfer is complete, it cannot be canceled or reversed. Whether you can recover your tokens depends on whether the owner of the receiving address can return them.
Check where the receiving address came from and try to contact the recipient:
- If the address belongs to a platform, contact its support team for assistance;
- If it belongs to a friend, explain what happened and ask them to return the tokens;
- If it is a token contract address, contact the project team to check whether they can help.
To avoid sending tokens to the wrong address, use imToken’s Address Book to save frequently used addresses with names and notes. When transferring, select an address from the address book, then double-check the network and the full receiving address.
To add an address, open imToken, go to “My Profile” - “Address Book”, then tap “+” in the top right corner and add the address for the corresponding blockchain or network.
