A failed transaction means it was not successfully executed. Your USDT will not be sent, but any energy or bandwidth consumed will not be refunded. When resources are insufficient, the TRON network deducts TRX to cover network fees.
Common Causes:
- Insufficient Energy: USDT transfers consume energy and bandwidth. If energy is insufficient, the network burns TRX to cover the cost. If there is not enough TRX either, the transaction may fail.
- Outdated balance: A poor internet connection may delay balance updates in your wallet, causing the transfer amount to exceed your actual available on-chain balance.
Recommendations:
- Check the transaction history on the USDT token page, or visit TRONSCAN and enter your wallet address or transaction ID (TxID) to look up the transaction.
- Switch your internet connection, such as between mobile data and Wi-Fi, then reopen imToken to update your balance.
- Make sure your account has enough TRX or energy, then try the transfer again.
