How to Apply for an imToken Card (Fiat24)?

imToken Card is a collection of co-branded cards in partnership with reputable and licensed issuers. It's designed to unleash the spending power of your tokens, integrating digital assets into your everyday spending. 

Account NFT is the access key to your account instead of user name and password. It is an ERC721 compatible token in your Arbitrum account. Each NFT has an unique number that represents your account number.

Preparation

  1. Verify that your region is eligible for the imToken Card. Check supported locations on the Fiat24 website.
  2. Deposit a small amount of ETH to your Arbitrum account to cover the NFT minting fee.
  3. Enable your phone's GPS and NFC features to apply from home.
  4. Have your passport ready and learn the verification process:

  • Android Users: Download the ReadID Ready app from Google Play.

  • iOS Users: Download the ReadID Ready app from the App Store.

Steps to Apply for the imToken Card

Step 1: Mint Account NFT

  • Ensure you have at least 0.0015 ETH in your imToken Arbitrum account. 
  • Tap the "Card" button in the function bar on the account home page, or head over to https://token.im/card to mint your Account NFT.
  • Click "Mint" and sign to approve the transaction.
  • Once you see "Your Fiat24 NFT Mint Success", click "Open Fiat24 Dapp" to allow Fiat24 to access your wallet and wait for it to connect.
  • Click "Register" to start registration.

Step 2: Verify Your Location

  • Follow the prompts to enable "I am at home," "I have a biometric ID," and "Activate my GPS," and "Allow" the DApp to use your location.
  • Click "Continue ➡" to review your residence and tax domicile, and enable the toggle next to your residence. 
  • Enter your location details (street, house number, postal code) and national ID, then click "Check distance ➡." to confirm your location and risk disclosure as instructed. 

Step 3: Enter Your Personal Information

Select the service usage, "Purpose of the account," and "Understand Your Risk."

Step 4: Submit Your Personal Email Address

  • Enter your email address and click "Get Code" to receive a verification code. Fill in the code and click "Submit" to complete the email verification.
  • Follow the prompts to sign and confirm your personal information.  (This information is for verification purposes only and will not be uploaded to the blockchain)

Step 5: Identity Verification

  • Download the ReadID Ready app for document scanning and facial recognition.

  • After downloading, return to the Fiat24 DApp page. Click "Next" - "Start" - you will be redirected to the ReadID app. Click "Next" to begin the identity verification process, which includes:

    • Prepare your identity document
    • Scan your identity document
    • Read the NFC chip of your identity document
    • Facial verification

    Note: Follow the prompts to scan your document. Ensure the document is clear, with no glare or obstructions like fingers.

  • After verification, click "Continue" and return to imToken.

Step 6: Confirm If Your Application Is Approved

Once back on the imToken Card page, you can check your application status.

  • When the page displays "Debit Card," your application is successfully completed.
  • Once you receive an email with the subject "Your account has been fully verified and activated," your application is done.

Note: In some cases, the application may not be approved immediately, and Fiat24 will perform a manual review. Please follow the prompts on the DApp page and wait for 1 to 2 business days. Then, return to the DApp to check the application progress.

Next, you can manage your Debit Card and start topping up and spending.
