After successfully registering for an imToken Card account, open the imToken Card DApp to view your Debit Card. Follow the steps below to complete the top-up process:
Preparation
Ensure your Arbitrum account holds more than $10 worth of supported tokens (USDC, ETH, USDT, LON, etc.). Common methods for transfer tokens to your Arbitrum account include:
- Withdraw from exchanges: Select the Arbitrum One network for withdrawal on the exchange and transfer USDC or other tokens to your Arbitrum account.
- Move tokens across chains: Switch to an Ethereum or other network account, tap the token (e.g., USDC) → the Token Function ◎ in the bottom left → Bridge, then use a bridge like Jumper, Bridgers or Tokenlon to transfer it to your Arbitrum account.
Note: If your Arbitrum account holds tokens that are not supported for top-up, you can swap them for supported tokens like USDC on the "Market" page (Tokenlon).

1. Top Up (USD/EUR/CHF)
For your first top-up, please select USD, with a minimum amount of $10 to activate the card.
- On the Arbitrum account homepage, tap Card in the function bar to enter the imToken Card DApp and connect your wallet.
- Tap Top Up in the pop-up; alternatively, expand the currency list under "Spendable", switch to USD in the "Switch Currency" pop-up, and tap Top Up.
- Select the payment token (e.g., USDC) and enter the amount (≥ $10 per transaction, up to $50,000).
- Tap Top Up, then follow the prompts to Confirm the authorization and Sign to send the transaction. Once the top-up succeeds, you can view your USD balance and exchange history on the page.
Note: You can switch currencies to top up EUR or CHF as well.
View card details
After your top-up is successful, you can activate it to retrieve your card details for binding with payment methods (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat, etc.):
- On the DApp homepage, tap the card background to expand or collapse it.
- Tap Activate Card. Once the last four digits of the card number appear, the activation is successful.
- Tap Show Card Details to view the card number, CVV, and expiry date.
Reminder: Keep your card details safe. Do not share them with others or enter them on untrusted websites.
2. Card and spending settings
To improve the payment experience and reduce fees, we recommend the following settings:
Tap the three-dot menu to the right of spendable and select Card settings. Alternatively, in the Switch Currency popup, tap Manage direct pay currency at the bottom.
Set Default Card Currency
- Choose a currency with a higher balance as the default to avoid failed payments due to insufficient funds.
Enable Direct Pay
- Turn on the currencies you already hold (e.g., RMB, EUR, USD, CHF). Enabling a currency means you authorize the contract to spend that currency directly. For example, enabling RMB allows the contract to use RMB tokens for payments.
Note: If the spending currency is not enabled, or the balance is insufficient, the system will charge your default currency instead.
Other options:
- Limits: View daily/monthly spending limits and total transaction limits.
- General: Keep Enable Card turned on. If you turn it off, the card will be permanently deactivated and cannot be registered again.
3. RMB top-up guide
At the moment, the imToken Card DApp does not support topping up RMB directly. To top up RMB, follow the steps below.
Tip: You can still pay in RMB without topping it up—just keep a balance (e.g., USD) on your card and set it as the default spending currency. The system will convert automatically, with costs based on the bank’s fees and FX spread.
Steps
- Top up USD, EUR, or CHF first, then exchange it to RMB.
- Switch the currency to RMB and tap Top Up. At the bottom, tap Open Fiat24 DApp, then connect your wallet and sign in.
-
In the Fiat24 DApp, tap the top-left menu and select RMB → + Add.
- Select the currency to exchange from (e.g., USD) and enter the target RMB amount.
- Tap Get xxx, then complete the authorization and signature.
- Once the transaction is successful, your RMB balance will update and can be used for daily spending.
