A blockchain explorer shows the BTC balance of a single address, while imToken shows the total BTC held across your wallet’s main address, sub-addresses, and change addresses. This is why the balances may differ.
What Is a change address?
BTC transactions work like cash payments: when the BTC used in a transaction exceeds the transfer amount plus the network fee, the remainder is sent to a change address generated by your wallet. This address still belongs to your BTC wallet, and its BTC is included in your total wallet balance.
