Ethpool will stop signing for validators on November 30, 2026, at 20:00 SGT (12:00 UTC). Validators still using Ethpool will go offline and incur inactivity penalties. If you use Ethpool, plan ahead:
- Keep your validators: Close your Ethpool account, then run the validators yourself or move them to a provider that accepts keystore imports. Wait at least 24 hours after Ethpool confirms key deletion before restarting them.
- Exit your validators: Wait for the ETH to reach your withdrawal address before deciding whether to stake again.
Closing your account does not exit your validators. Follow Ethpool’s shutdown FAQ for the steps and waiting periods: https://ethpool.org/faq#sunset
If you plan to exit and restake, imToken Stake offers non-custodial staking from 32 ETH, with withdrawal control in your hands. It cannot import Ethpool validators or keystores.
You’ll need to exit, wait for your ETH, and create new validators, allowing time for the exit, withdrawal, and activation queues. imToken Stake has operated for five years with 99.99% validator uptime.
