Tether will officially discontinue support for USDT on Bitcoin(Omni Layer) and Vaulta (formerly EOS) starting September 1, 2025 (UTC). After this date, any USDT remaining on those networks will no longer be transferable or redeemable.
If you still hold USDT on Bitcoin or Vaulta, please transfer it before 2025-09-01 (UTC) to an exchange (e.g., Bitfinex) that supports USDT on Omni or Vaulta. From there, you can withdraw to another network that supports USDT, such as Ethereum or TRON, as needed.
Tips
- Before transferring, confirm which networks the exchange supports.
- Make sure you have enough native tokens (e.g., BTC) to pay the network fee; It is recommended to set a higher miner fee to ensure timely confirmation.
