How to Create an EOS Account

The account mechanism of EOS requires you to pay a certain fee when creating an account.

Note: You need a friend with an existing EOS account to scan the QR code and pay for you.

First-Time Users of imToken

When downloading the imToken wallet for the first time, you need to create a wallet. During wallet creation, you can add various accounts including EOS. Once created, you can see the "Pending creation" EOS account on the "Manage wallets" page.

Creating EOS accounts according to the following steps:

1. Click "Pending Creation."
2. Click "Register EOS Account."
3. Set the EOS account name and click "Register."
4. Pay attention to the naming rules when setting the account name.
5. Click "Register" to get the payment QR code.
6. Ask your friend to scan the QR code to pay a certain amount of EOS tokens as a fee.

For users who have already "created a wallet" but do not have an EOS account in the wallet.

You can add an EOS account by following these steps:

1. Click "My Profile" → "Manage wallets."
2. Select the wallet to add an EOS account
3. Click "Add account", check the EOS account, and then click "Confirm."
4. Click "Pending Creation" to register.

For users who need to add multiple EOS accounts to their wallets:

You can add multiple EOS accounts as follows:

Open the imToken App and click "My Profile" - "Manage wallets", select the wallet to add the EOS account, click "Add Account" on the "Wallet Settings" page, check the EOS account, and click "Confirm" to complete the addition.
