Create wallet for the first time
1. Open imToken and click "Create new wallet".
2. Set wallet name, password, password hint and other information.
Note: Your wallet password is used as your transaction password. Please keep it safe.
3. Select the networks you want to use and add corresponding accounts. For example:
- To add an Ethereum account, select Ethereum.
- To add a Tron account, select Tron.
- To add an Arbitrum account, select Arbitrum.
If you are not sure which networks to add for now, you can start with the commonly used ones and add more network accounts later in the wallet.
4. Back up mnemonic phrases according to security prompts.
Note: A mnemonic phrase represents control over your assets. If it is lost or leaked, your assets are at risk of loss or theft. Please write it down accurately and keep it safe. Never take screenshots, take photos, store it online, or share it with anyone.
5. Double check the mnemonic phrases to ensure correctness.
6. Once the wallet is created, you will be taken to the homepage of the newly added account.
Create more wallets
After creating a wallet, if you want to create more wallets, you can do it by "Add Wallet". The specific steps are as follows👇
1. Open imToken, click "My Profile" - "Manage wallets", click the "Add" button, and select "Create Wallet".
2. Set wallet name, password, password hint and other information.
3. Select the networks you want to use and add corresponding accounts.
4. Back up mnemonic phrases according to security prompts.
5. Double check the mnemonic phrases to ensure correctness.
6. Once the wallet is created, return to the wallet homepage to enter the newly added account.
View and switch accounts
Tap the top-left account selector on the home screen to open “Select Account”, where you can view wallets, manage accounts, and switch between them easily.
