May was a month of milestones and celebrations! The SEC approved the spot Ethereum ETF, reigniting the cryptocurrency market.

Since 2016, imToken has witnessed and participated in the development of the crypto industry alongside all of you. We are grateful for the support and companionship of every user.

From the beginning, our team has been dedicated to providing users with a secure, reliable, and user-friendly wallet experience. In 2018, we open-sourced our core code, TokenCore, to further promote the evolution of the digital wallet ecosystem.

Today, to better adapt to the ever-changing needs of users, we have launched the new version, imToken 2.15

This version brings you a comprehensive upgrade in architecture and design with a flat account system to enhance account flexibility — implementing our "Token-Centric" design concept.

We believe tokens are a crucial cornerstone of the future digital world. To commemorate 8 years together, we invited our fam to share their birthday wishes, favorite features, or memorable experiences with imToken on the Discord channel. Every participant was rewarded with experience points (XP), exclusive roles, and a chance to win exciting prizes.

TokenHub Launch Series Activities

TokenHub portal launched with its first batch of 9 projects, of which 7 come with airdrop expectations. All imToken users engaged actively and completed interactive tasks for a chance to win airdrops and earn valuable OATs.

  • Polymarket raised $45 million in Series B funding, backed by Vitalik Buterin
    The crypto-based prediction market platform, Polymarket received $45 million in funds from investors including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. The platform has seen a breakout year ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, with its total funding exceeding $70 million.
  • Donald J. Trump becomes the first major presidential candidate to accept crypto donations
    Trump’s campaign announced that it will accept digital currency donations such as bitcoin, ether, etc. Trump also stated that he “will build a crypto army” to counter anti-crypto forces and strengthen his support for crypto in the 2024 election.
  • SEC approved key regulatory documents for Ethereum ETF
    On May 24, the SEC gave the green light to key regulatory documents for a spot Ethereum ETF, but has not yet approved its listing and trading. Financial institutions such as BlackRock, Fidelity, and Grayscale are actively promoting the launch of related products.
