The Dencun upgrade is set to go live on the Ethereum mainnet at epoch 269568, which is expected to occur on March 13, 2024 at 13:55 UTC.
The Dencun upgrade combines Cancun upgrade on the execution layer and Deneb upgrade on the consensus layer. This upgrade will introduce EIP-4844, also known as "protodanksharding", which will help reduce L2 transaction fees.
