One-Click Transfers, No Address Needed
In the blockchain world, traditional transfers often come with two hurdles:
- You must know the recipient’s wallet address.
- You must pay ETH for gas fees.
For many newcomers, this is intimidating and inconvenient for everyday use.
That’s why imToken Web’s Send by Link feature was created—to remove these barriers.
With it, you can package tokens into a link, just like sending a red packet, and share it via WeChat, Twitter, or Telegram. The recipient simply clicks the link to instantly claim the tokens—no mnemonic, no ETH, and no complicated wallet setup required.
This moves transfers beyond wallet addresses and into your social network, turning tokens into social currency.
Key Features
- No address needed: No more asking friends for long wallet addresses—reduces error risk.
- Zero-barrier receiving: Even users new to crypto can generate a wallet instantly with a Passkey and claim tokens.
- Decentralized security: Entirely powered by smart contracts—no centralized intermediary.
- Social distribution: Perfect for red packets, community rewards, and event incentives—letting tokens flow like gifts across social networks.
How to Use
1. Create a link
- Open imToken Web → “My Holdings,” select the token to send (e.g., USDC).
- Tap Send, switch to Send by Link.
- Complete the signature as prompted to deploy your account. (The deployment is required to activate this feature.)
- Set the USDC amount and link validity period.
- Tap Create link, review the signature preview, and tap Confirm again (When you use this feature with certain tokens for the first time, you'll need to grant token approval.).
- Link created successfully!
2. Share the link
- Copy the link and share it via WeChat, Twitter, Telegram, or any social channel.
- ⚠️ Anyone with the link can claim the tokens. To prevent strangers from receiving, don’t post links publicly.

- For details, see How to Claim Tokens from a Link.
4. Manage your links
