How to Use imToken with Courtyard NFTs
imToken is a powerful mobile wallet and your perfect gateway into the world of Courtyard NFTs.
Step 1: Get ready
Courtyard is a DApp deployed on Polygon. Most card pack series start at $25, so make sure your imToken Polygon account has enough POL tokens to cover network fees and at least 25 USDC to make a purchase.
Step 2: Create a Courtyard account
1. Open imToken and switch to your Polygon wallet.
2. Go to the browser tab and search for Courtyard.io.
3. Tap Sign Up and enter your email address.
4. Verify your email—your Courtyard account is now ready.
Step 3: Connect imToken
1. Tap the profile icon in the upper right corner of Courtyard.
2. Select Link another wallet.
3. Choose imToken, enter your wallet password, and authorize the connection.
Step 4: Buy a pack
1. Browse and select an NFT you like, then click Buy now.
2. Under Payment method, select Wallet, and choose External Wallet (ie., your imToken wallet).
3. Click Buy now again and enter your payment password to confirm.
Note: If you see a message saying "Insufficient funds" (meaning you don’t have enough USDC to purchase the NFT), you can click Add Funds to transfer tokens from another account to your Polygon wallet for the purchase.
Step 5: View Your NFT
1. Tap the Courtyard menu icon and select Profile.
2. Under Collection, you’ll find your purchased NFTs. Tap an image to see detailed info about the item.
What can you do with your Courtyard NFT?
Once you’ve acquired an NFT, you have three options:
1. Sell it
On the NFT’s detail page, you’ll find two options:
- List for Sale – set your own price.
- Accept Buyback Offer – accept Courtyard’s buyback price.

2. Redeem the physical card
Want the actual card in your hands? You can redeem it:
1. Go to your profile and choose Redemptions.
2. This page shows any NFTs currently in the redemption process.
3. Click Redeem, select your NFT, hit Continue, and fill in your shipping info.
Note:
Once you confirm redemption, the corresponding NFT is permanently burned on the blockchain. This ensures that there is only one rightful owner of the physical card. After confirmation, Courtyard will ship the card to you securely and fully insured. (International shipping and insurance costs are covered by you.)
3. HODL
- If you used External Wallet (i.e., your imToken wallet) when purchasing the NFT, then the NFT is already in your imToken wallet and no further action is needed.
- If you used the default Courtyard wallet, your NFT will be stored there. If you’d like to transfer the NFT to your decentralized imToken wallet for safekeeping, you can follow the steps below 👇
1. On the NFT detail page, tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Transfer.
2. On the transfer page, under Transfer to, enter your Polygon wallet address in imToken.
3. After entering the address, confirm the transaction to send the NFT from Courtyard to your imToken wallet.
