In April 2026, on-chain security continued to shift toward the interaction layer. Beyond smart contract vulnerabilities, attacks targeting address copying, front-end interfaces, and user behavior paths are becoming more common. This trend is pushing the industry to reassess risk mitigation throughout the transaction process.
Against this backdrop, imToken continued to enhance its security capabilities. This month, we launched Address Poisoning Protection, designed to identify and block malicious addresses before a transfer is made. We also published a series of articles on Verifiable UI and interaction security, focusing on critical risk points in on-chain operations.

🥳 Product Updates
Address Poisoning Protection Goes Live
Recently, address poisoning attacks have increased. Attackers send small amounts of tokens and mimic frequently used addresses, attempting to trick users into sending funds to the wrong destination.
To address this, imToken introduced Address Poisoning Protection in version 2.19.0. During transfers, the system detects suspicious addresses and warns users, while filters out high-risk transaction records. This helps minimize the risk of misdirected transfers at the source.
