imToken Web supports creating Arbitrum (Arbitrum One) accounts. You can get tokens in three ways:
- Transfer: Receive from another wallet.
- Exchange: Withdraw from an exchange.
- Buy: Purchase via third-party services.
Before you start
- Create or sign in to your account on imToken Web.
- imToken Web only supports receiving tokens on Arbitrum One.
Method 1: Transfer from another wallet
- On imToken Web, click the menu in the top right and choose My Holdings.
- Click the QR code icon in the top left to view your Arbitrum address and QR code.
- To receive, share your address with the sender—or let them scan your QR code in their wallet.
Method 2: Withdraw from exchanges
- On the exchange, choose the token you want to withdraw (e.g., USDT).
- Select Arbitrum One as the withdrawal network.
- Paste your Arbitrum address (or use the exchange’s scan function to read your QR code).
- Enter the amount and submit the withdrawal, then wait for the exchange to process it.
Method 3: Buy tokens
You can purchase tokens through compliant third-party services (for example, MoonPay).
- When buying, make sure you select tokens on the Arbitrum network, such as USDT (Arbitrum), USDC (Arbitrum), or ETH (Arbitrum).
- Enter your imToken Web Arbitrum address as the recipient.
Note: Availability depends on the provider and your region. Fees, limits, and delivery times vary by provider. Always follow local laws and regulations.
FAQ
Q1. Do I have to use the Arbitrum network to transfer or withdraw to imToken Web?
Yes. imToken Web currently supports Arbitrum accounts only, so you must use the Arbitrum network when receiving tokens.
Although Arbitrum addresses look similar to Ethereum/EVM/Layer2 addresses (all starting with 0x), they are different networks, and assets are not interchangeable.
- From an exchange: set the withdrawal network to Arbitrum One.
- From another wallet: send from an Arbitrum wallet.
- Buying tokens: purchase tokens on the Arbitrum network.
Q2. Which tokens on Arbitrum are supported?
imToken Web supports a wide range of mainstream ERC-20 tokens on Arbitrum. After tokens arrive, they will automatically appear on the My Holdings page.
Q3. What if I used the wrong network?
If tokens are sent through a network other than Arbitrum (which imToken Web doesn’t support), they won’t appear in your account and cannot be recovered.
Q4. How do I send tokens from my imToken Web account to another address?
- Make sure you have a small amount of USDT/USDC/ETH to pay network fees.
- Go to My Holdings → select the token → click Send.
- Enter the amount.
- Paste the recipient’s Arbitrum wallet address.
- Click Confirm to send → Confirm, then complete Face ID or fingerprint verification to finalize.
