What is Bridgers?
Bridgers is a decentralized cross-chain interoperability platform built on open-source smart contracts. It currently supports 50+ chains and 500+ tokens.

How to Use Bridgers in imToken?
Cross-chain swaps require network fees. For example, when bridging from the Tron network, the DApp supports buying Energy with TRX or USDT. When bridging from the Ethereum network, ETH is required to pay gas fees. Please make sure your account has enough of the required tokens to cover network fees.
This guide uses a USDT transfer from Tron to Ethereum as an example.
1. Connect your wallet
- Open your imToken wallet, switch to your Tron account, swipe left on the function bar, and tap Bridge to enter Bridgers.
- Tap Authorize & Route in the upper right corner, then select the imToken icon to complete the connection.
2. Select the networks and tokens
- Select the source network and token, as well as the destination network and token. Enter the amount you want to bridge and check the quote.
- Enter the receiving wallet address in the Receiving address field.
3. Buy Energy as needed
- Tap Swap to review the swap and Auto Buy Energy details. Here, we will use Auto Buy Energy as an example.
💡 Auto Buy Energy is enabled by default in the DApp. Energy is used for token approval and swap transactions, and can help reduce costs compared with directly burning TRX. If you do not want the DApp to buy Energy automatically, you can turn off Auto Buy Energy.
- On the confirmation page, tap Confirm Swap at the bottom and review the Energy purchase fee details. After confirming that everything is correct, tap Confirm to sign and send the Energy purchase transaction.
4. Start the swap
- After the Energy purchase transaction is completed, follow the pop-up prompt and tap Swap - Approve to sign and confirm the approval transaction, allowing the DApp to use the corresponding amount of USDT.
- Once the approval is completed, tap Confirm Swap at the bottom of the DApp page to sign the swap transaction. After submitting, you can view the swap progress on the page in real time.
- Once the transaction is complete, open the receiving account to check the tokens.
Note: Bridgers may be unavailable to users in certain countries or regions, such as the United States, China, and Russia, due to regional restrictions. Please refer to the prompts shown on the DApp page.
FAQ
Q1. How long does it take to bridge tokens?
A: Typically, it takes about 1–3 minutes. During periods of network congestion, it may take 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Q2. What are the fees for using Bridgers?
A: Bridgers charges 0.4% of the source token amount. Gas fees are charged separately and are subject to actual on-chain consumption.
Q3. What is “Auto Buy Energy”? Why do I need to buy energy?
A: On the Tron network, transferring USDT and sending approval transactions require Energy. If your account does not have enough Energy, the network will burn TRX to cover the cost, which is usually more expensive.
When Auto Buy Energy is enabled, the DApp will rent Energy for you at a lower cost, helping reduce the total swap cost.
Q4. Why do I need to approve tokens?
A: When you use tokens such as USDT for a swap, you need to approve the Bridgers DApp contract to use the corresponding amount of tokens before the swap transaction can continue. The approval amount is only used for this transaction or within the amount you confirm.
If you swap native tokens such as ETH or TRX, the transaction is settled directly by the underlying network and usually does not require token approval.
Q5. Why haven’t I received my tokens after completing the cross-chain swap?
A: Please first check whether the receiving address was entered correctly. If the address is correct, make sure the destination network matches the network of the account you are currently viewing. If the issue persists, you can contact Bridgers support.
Q6. How do I contact Bridgers support?
A: You can tap the headset icon in the lower right corner of the Bridgers DApp page to contact their support.
