If you’ve been holding tokens on networks like Ethereum or TRON, you may already be used to how you manage them today. Different networks tend to fit different scenarios:
On TRON, stablecoins circulate widely for frequent transfers; Ethereum offers stronger security for large-value storage and settlement; and Layer2s like Arbitrum inherit Ethereum’s security while providing lower fees and a richer app ecosystem for deeper Web3 use.
If you want more than transfers, use Token Function 🔘in imToken to one-tap access bridging, approval management, and decentralized trading—without hunting for DApps or worrying about fake links—for faster, safer asset management.
Before you start
1. Add an account: If you don't have an Arbitrum account yet, go to My Profile - Manage wallets - Add, check Arbitrum under Layer 2, and confirm to add it.
2. Receiving Tokens:
- Withdraw from exchanges: Select the Arbitrum One network for withdrawal on the exchange and transfer USDC to your Arbitrum account.
- Move tokens across chains: Use a bridge app such as Bridgers, Jumper or Butterswap to transfer tokens from other networks into USDC on Arbitrum.
Make sure your Arbitrum account also has a small amount of ETH to cover gas fees.
1. Enable Token Function to Discover More
- Tap the token: Tap the USDC token on the account home page to enter the details page.
Tip: If this is a new address and you’ve just received tokens, tap “+” on the home page, check USDC, and add it to your asset list.
- One-tap access: Tap the Token Function 🔘 button at the bottom left.
- Explore available functions: Here, you will see common functions related to the token. imToken has curated mainstream applications for each function, for example:
- Connect to imToken Card: Use tokens for everyday spending.
- Earn: Participate in DeFi and earn more tokens.
- Bridge: Use bridging services to swap tokens across networks.
- Revoke: Review and revoke unnecessary token approvals anytime.
- Trade: Experience decentralized trading via high-performance protocols like Hyperliquid.

Guide
Connect your wallet
- In the function list, tap Trade → select Hyperliquid.
- Confirm to connect your wallet, agree to the terms, and sign in.
- Tap Establish Connection and sign to enable a gas-free trading experience within the platform. (You can close the “Deposit USDC from Arbitrum” pop-up for now.)
- Tap Join with code: IMTOKEN to enter Hyperliquid.
Deposit tokens
- In the bottom navigation bar, tap Account → Deposit.
- Choose the token you want to deposit (e.g., USDC), enter the amount, then tap Deposit and sign to submit the deposit transaction.
- After confirmation, the tokens will be credited to your Perps account.
- If you want to use Spot, tap Perps ⇄ Spot to transfer funds between accounts.
Note: Some features (such as perpetuals) involve leverage and liquidation mechanisms and are high-risk financial derivatives. Make sure you fully understand the rules before participating.
Choose a market
- On the Trade page, tap a trading pair (e.g., HYPE/USDC).
- You can filter quickly by Perps, Spot, Trending, etc., or search for a token and place an order.
- Tap the top-left menu → Portfolio to view volume, fees, balances, positions, deposits, and withdrawals.
Note: Trading fees are subject to Hyperliquid’s official fee schedule.
Withdraw assets
- To withdraw, tap Account → Withdraw.
- Select the token (e.g., USDC), enter the amount, and sign.
- Withdrawals are typically processed within 5 minutes. Once completed, tokens will be sent directly to your Arbitrum wallet address.
- Return to the wallet home page to check the received tokens.
