How to Earn XP in OpenSea Voyages with imToken

About OpenSea Voyages

OpenSea, a leading NFT marketplace, officially launched its upgraded platform, OpenSea2 (OS2), on May 30, 2025 (SGT). The new version integrates features such as NFT minting, cross-chain swaps, and multi-chain token trading. It also significantly expands network support, now covering 19 chains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Berachain, and Unichain.

At the same time, OpenSea introduced Voyages —a system designed to help users explore the new features of OS2 while building momentum for the upcoming launch of its native token, SEA. By completing tasks through Voyages, users can earn XP, which will serve as one of the reference metrics for future SEA token airdrops.

Note: The official launch date and airdrop allocation for SEA have not yet been announced. Please refer to OpenSea’s official channels for updates.

To help you earn XP more efficiently, let’s break down how Voyages works across three key dimensions: task types, rarity levels, and reward formats.

Rarity Levels Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary; tasks refresh daily & weekly—expired tasks disappear

Now that you know how the Voyages XP system works, let's dive into the step-by-step guide to start earning!

Guide

1. Connect to OpenSea Voyages

  • ​​In imToken, switch to an ETH or Arbitrum account and open OpenSea Rewards.
  • Click "Sign in with Ethereum" and sign in your wallet to connect.
  • Connect your X and Discord accounts. 

2. Find Your Tasks

  • Scroll down and click "Let’s go!" to navigate to the Voyages tab.
  • You'll see a list of available tasks, such as:
    • "Complete a cross-chain token swap! Minimum $5 USD."
    • "Buy any NFT from a verified collection ($10 minimum)."
    • "Share your swap link on X."

3. Complete a Task (e.g., Cross-Chain Swap):

  • Click “View Tokens” below the task to access the token list.
  • You can filter tokens by categories such as Trending or Top.

  • Once you've chosen a token, click "Swap".
  • Set your source and destination networks, enter the amount, and click  "Swap" to initiate the transaction.

4. Claim Your XP

  • After the transaction is confirmed, head back to the Voyages page.
  • The completed task will now show "100%". Click "Claim Reward" to get your XP.
  • Repeat with other tasks to maximize your XP. 

5. Track your progress

  • Profile: Check your total XP and view your collected Treasures.
  • Activity: Review all claimed rewards.

  • Avoid Phishing: The official OpenSea website is opensea.io. Do not click on suspicious third-party links.
  • Prepare for Gas Fees: For actions like cross-chain swaps, make sure you have enough gas tokens on the source network to cover gas fees.
  • Manage Approvals: After completing tasks, it’s recommended to regularly check and revoke unnecessary token approvals using tools like Revoke.cash.
